November 2nd announce the release of the album
Czech band November 2nd announced the release date of their new album. The eponymous record, named only by the group's name, will be released on November 2, 2023. Currently, the band releases the single Lights Are Out. The song was produced by the band in collaboration with producer Boris Carloff. The mix was handled by multiple Grammy winner Andrew Scheps, who is behind the successful albums of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Adele or Lana Del Rey.

"In the current song November 2nd combine all the attributes of the upcoming album's sound. Whether it's a strong opening riff, a soul vibey verse, distinctive gospel vocals or pop sound," describes producer Boris Carloff.

The song tells about what could happen if there was a blackout one dark night. "It expresses our over-technological society's fear of nature, which wants to get back what humans have taken from it. And at the same time it‘s about a person's desire to reconnect with her. About the feeling that the past is gone, tomorrow is uncertain and  about finding refuge in the arms of another person," says singer Alexandra Langošová, who is co-signed under the song with guitarist Roman Helcl and producer Boris Carloff.
